Shoes! Oh My Precious...

و اما خرید کفش...

 من هم مثل همه‌ی خانوم‌ها عاشق کفش خریدن هستم. خریدن کفش عروس سختی ویژه‌ای داره چون باید با لباس کاملا هماهنگی داشته باشه. مشکل افزوده هم اینه که معمولا کفش و لباس عروس در یک بوتیک نیستند. البته وارن برن کفش هم داشت، اما کفش‌هاش اصلا با لباس من هماهنگی نداشت. این شد که راهی نیمان مارکوس شدیم. من چندتا مدل رو انتخاب کردم و پوشیدم. در حال سبک و سنگین کردن کفش‌ها بودم که علی رفت وبا یک جفت کفش رِنِی کاوْویلا برگشت و بهم گفت اینا رو بپوش. وقتی پوشیدم واقعا احساس عروس بودن بهم دست داد؛ احساسی که هیچ کدوم از کفش‌های دیگه بهم نداده بودن. این کار علی به یادم آورد که چرا دیوونه‌وار عاشقشم! آخه کدوم مرد رو دیدین که با یه نگاه خوشگلترین کفش عروسی رو پیدا کنه؟ 

واسه این‌که از انتخابمون مطمئن بشیم کفش‌هایی که علی انتخاب کرده بود رو به همراه یک جفت جیمی چو خریدیم و راهی بوتیک وارن برن شدیم که من کفش‌ها رو با لباسم امتحان کنم. انتخاب علی فوق‌العاده بود و با لباسم هماهنگی کامل داشت. اونجا بود که یه نفس راحت کشیدیم و با یه بوس و بغل دیگه به این قسمت از برنامه ریزی هم خاتمه دادیم.

And the shoe shopping...

Like all other women, I love shopping for shoes. Buying bridal shoes is particularly hard as they have to perfectly match the bridal gown. An added difficulty is that normally bridal boutiques do not carry a great bridal shoe collection. Warren Barron had only three different styles, none of which matched my dress. So, we headed to Neiman Marcus. I chose a few styles and started trying them on. While I was trying to decide between the ones that I chose, Ali went and took a look at other shoes they carried. He came back with a beautiful pair of Rene Caovillas. He asked me to try them on, and when I did, I never felt more bridal. This made me remember why I am crazy about Ali. What man do you know that can spot the prettiest bridal shoes at a glance?

To make sure the shoes matched my dress, we bought the Renes and a pair of Jimmy Choos. We went to Warren Barron and I tried the shoes with my dress. Ali's choice was perfect. It looked like it was made for my dress. The moment we chose my shoes, we were relieved. Once again we hugged and kissed and ended this chapter of our planning.
