شاید بعضی از شما من و علی رو بشناسید...

من شیرین‌ام و با علی مهربونم تو یه شهر کوچک دانشجویی در آمریکا زندگی می‌کنم. هر دوی ما در دانشگاه کار می‌کنیم. ما ٦ ساله که باهم دوستیم و قراره که تا آخرعمرهم دوست بمونیم. علی روز تولد ٢١ سالگی من بعد از گذشت یک سال و نیم از دوستیمون از من در تورنتوی کانادا خواستگاری کرد. داستان خواستگاری رمانتیک علی رو میتونین دروبسایت نامزدی‌ ما بخونین. اون شب بهترین شب زندگی من بود اما مطمئنم شب عروسیمون حتا از اون شب هم برام لذت‌بخش تر و زیبا تر خواهد بود.

ما قراره ٢٤ مرداد امسال در ایران جشن عروسیمون رو برگزار کنیم و قراره بعداز اون هم یه جشن کوچک تر در امریکا برای دوستانمون بگیریم.

من عاشق مهمونی دادن و برنامه ریزی برای مراسم مختلفم؛ اما این‌که مجبورم از دور برنامه ریزی کنم و امیدوار باشم همه چیز به خوبی پیش بره به شدت مضطربم می‌کنه. امیدوارم همه چیز طبق برنامه پیش بره؛ البته اگر نرفت هم اشکالی نداره! من کماکان با مرد رویاهام تا آخر عمر زندگی می‌کنم...

Some of you may know Ali and me...

My name is Shirin, and I live in a small college town with the love of my life, Ali, in the United States. We both work at the university. We have been dating for six years. Ali proposed to me on my 21st birthday in Toronto, Canada. You can read about his romantic gesture in our engagement website. The night I got engaged to Ali was the most beautiful night of my life, but I am sure our wedding night will even be more beautiful. 

We plan to celebrate our wedding on August 14, 2014 in Iran with our families. We also plan to hold a smaller reception in the US for our American friends.

I love throwing parties and planning for different events, but the fact that I have to micro manage and plan everything from thousands of miles away and only hope for the best makes me really nervous. I hope everything goes as planned, and if it doesn't, that's okay! I still get to live with the man of my dreams for the rest of my life...
